How to i get a hoop?

While there are hula hoops available at many stores, sometimes they are not made from durable materials. We recommend buying a high quality hoop because it will last longer! Head to the Buy A Hoop page for our recommendation from Hoopologie and a discount!

Am I too out of shape/uncoordinated/injured to learn how to hoop?

Hooping is for absolutely everyone, and every body. While some medical conditions may mean that hooping in these classes may not be for you, hooping is for every body shape and age and there are many modifications that can be provided if something does not work for you. Mad About Hoops- Madison will work with you exactly where you are at!

What should I wear to hoop class?

Think gym clothes! Be sure to wear something comfortable and close fitting, such as stretchy pants/shorts or leggings.

Avoid belts or extra material around your midsection that may get snagged by a hoop, as well as jewelry like rings, dangly earrings, necklaces. If you wear glasses, you may want to wear contacts or an older pair, just until you are comfortable.

Madison Circus Space allows any indoor shoes (no dirt or wetness at all) onto the floor. As sometimes socks can be too slippery, we recommend either bare feet or shoes.

Do I need my own hoop?

Hoops will be provided for class use, and you are also welcome to bring your own hoop(s).

I want to join but the class is too expensive for me. Is there help available?
